Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Assistance:
Collaborate with various departments to learn and support inventory management processes.
Assist in the implementation of supply chain strategies under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Track and observe key performance indicators (KPIs) to gain insights into supply chain dynamics.
Work closely with team members to understand and support supplier relationships.
Procurement Support:
Learn to source and evaluate potential suppliers, participating in negotiation processes.
Contribute to the generation of purchase orders and the management of procurement documentation.
Collaborate with experienced team members to resolve issues and discrepancies in deliveries.
Contribute ideas to optimize procurement processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Administrative Assistance:
Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing team.
Assist in managing office supplies and equipment inventory, learning to reorder as necessary.
Gain experience in preparing and organizing documents, reports, and presentations.
Contribute to the coordination of meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
Serve as liaison to corporate offices, including but not limited to human resources, finance, customer service, etc.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information.
Utilize software tools under guidance to track and analyze data related to supply chain and procurement activities.
Contribute to generating basic reports to support decision-making processes.
RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in progress or recently completed is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and eagerness to learn other relevant software applications.
Eagerness to advance knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
