Summary:
The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvementYou will be responsible for managing a diverse team, optimizing operational processes, and implementing strategies that enhance productivity and ensure quality.

Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
Implement and oversee efficient warehouse operations, utilizing ERP systems to streamline processes, manage inventory, and ensure accurate data management.
Throughput Enhancement:
Drive throughput initiatives to maximize productivity and minimize lead times, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time and to specification.
LEAN Implementation:
Champion LEAN continuous improvement methodologies, identifying areas for improvement, leading Kaizen events, and fostering a culture of efficiency and waste reduction.
Team Management:
Manage and develop a team of both hourly and salaried employees, setting clear expectations, providing training and development opportunities, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Performance Monitoring:
Regularly review performance data to identify trends, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all products meet quality standards and compliance requirements, collaborating with the quality team to address any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
Promote and enforce a safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems and a strong understanding of how to leverage technology to improve operational efficiencies.
Demonstrated experience with LEAN continuous improvement methodologies, with a track record of successful implementation and tangible results.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing both hourly and salaried team members.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving operational excellence.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
